some places never change

..................................................................................

Thanksgiving was spent in St. Charles, MO with my dad's side of the family.
St. Charles used to be the capitol of Missouri in the 1800s.
We walked in the historic downtown streets.
We walked along the river.
We visited the locally owned shops.
I bought a wallet and a chocolate covered strawberry.
Home base was my aunt and uncle's house.
There were twenty of us there.
We played card games and ate pumpkin, cherry, and peach pie.
We laughed a good deal and said what we were thankful for.
We teased eachother and left our differences behind.
All of these activities done in a house who's decor hasn't changed since 1975.

I am thankful for my family and this place untouched by time.
